Well,

I finally found my first monster...and he was HUGE. At least 2 ft. Very pleasant animal.

Great angles, especially the first Gila. What time of day did you find the monster? How hot out? I'll probaby be in AZ mid-August so those are pointed questions.

early evening - like 6PM. it was about 80-85 and had rained a bit around 4PM and was overcast most of the day. I was way down in South AZ.
