Here are some pics from my basic point and shoot camera.
The pictures don't do the AHA spring picnic justice. Being there and experiencing the spiritual White Tanks in person is special and being in the presence of mystical and powerful native venomous snakes is always a bonus. Even though there were no king of snakes present.
For those of you who missed the AHA picnic, your loss, you ought to show next time.

I was telling my girlfriend on the drive back. You just won't see a bunch of fascinated people standing around a couple of venomous snakes slithering around except for at an AHA picnic.......hehehe

A few more...........
I had planned on herping the back roads and some washes on the drive back and even Christina hooked me up with some food so we could've slept under the stars, but the dust/wind storm ruined those plans.
Thanks again to all those attended the picnic and made it possible, great job!:applause:

More Oregon pics, if anyone from the AHA is planning on going up north to Oregon this summer send me a pm and I'll steer you in the right direction of some great trails and areas to experience. Some hiking trails are better than others.

Thanks Jerry.
It was great to finally meet the myth, the man, the legend, the Feldner. :D
On the way back I passed the road you told me about earlier and at least now I know where it is, thanks. I also have to check out some of those spots in SSE CA near Yuma also. After leaving the White Tanks in the storm my humble experience was telling me wind and dust storms usually aren't the best times for road crusing.
