to thank Kristina and Micah for all their work in setting up the picnic and Mark for his excellent cooking. MMM, those ribs!! And, thanks to all the folks who came although I consider it shameful that only three officers deigned to show up. :cray: Oh, well, maybe next time. I was happy to meet a lot of you guys and gals, especially those folks who made the trek from Yuma, Prescott and Flag and to renew acquaintances with others.

Kristina, this is for you>>:applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:

I agree! Kristina and Micah put together a great picnic, now that it's over, I can't wait for the fall picnic.
Thanks to Kristina & Christina (Mochas...) for watching out for my snakes out there. Glad they were saved from overheating so they all got home save and sound. My beardie seemed to enjoy being out, she had gotten a good 30 - 45 minutes of full sun earlier today, so was sure looking pretty and dark.

Sean, I really love the pic of the AZ Black with the crowd behind it, that's just too cool! the closeups that you took while laying on the ground were all great. I don't get down on the ground like that, cause I might not get up. LOL

Thanks to Diego and Mark for giving us the opportunity to get some great pics. I know Sean loved this speckled, and I loved the Arizona Black Rattler, it was beautiful! Excellent markings.

Awesome pics Sean, you were definately the one making the effort to get those great perspectives.

It was well worth the trip from Yuma to meet everyone and the White Tanks is a beautiful place. Thank God, I didn't have to fight the PHX big city traffic to get there.

Good people, good fun, and some great healthy pet reptiles!

Kudos to Christina for coordinating the picnic and taking the time to make it happen!:applause: and too the other members who brought food and volunteered their time.:drinks:

I was wondering if that chuck was found there. I have seen many but can never get to them before they disappear into the rocks. That is one animal that I would take home. For the most part I just enjoy photographing and releasing.

Why are you so jealous of my superior hook? I think the clinical term is called "hook envy". I'm very sorry yours is puny and weak. Not everyone's hook can be so well endowed as mine...:Nana

That would be me in the visor and wow I really do have a bright face in that shot. Maybe I just need more sun? Guess I need to leave work early today and do some herping. That should take care of it.

we could use the bait & Switch, they'd come for Mark's ribs n chicken and offer them a live crote handed to them instead..... they'd run.

We had a bum on a bike come up to us in the dark at Bookman's parking lot, asking for change. I turned around to face him while holding my 6 ft long black pine snake... He said "is that a real snake?" and I said "yes he is" By the time I said "is", the man turned tail :running: and was halfway across the parking lot, pedaling as fast as he could. LOL :uplaugh:
