Hmmmm, that's a new one on me. I have seen researchers wrap t-shirts and such around the heads of big anacondas in the field while they're working with them. But I've never seen anything actually mass produced for that purpose.

Restraining tubes are often used, especially with venomous species, when handling snakes for expopsed lengths of time and/or when a some small bit of detailed work is needed. What other uses could there be for a snake muzzle:Think....lol.

Why would you want to wrap TAPE around a snake's head? That would be very dangerous with a venomous snake. It could also be harmful to the snake, should it rip some scales off when being removed.

The only time I have ever seen it done was with large aggressive constrictors. I would never try it with a hot snake. I think tubing would work much better

Using a tube would be so very much better, more humane and the risks with using tape on any snake is just not worth it. I love my snakes too much to think of doing that. I don't really even like seeing crocs get taped, but at least their hide is a lot thicker.
