Just some pictures I found going through some of my work.
First two are simple drawings of Boas.

I agree! beautiful drawings. I can't doodle at all, not to mention drawing something so nice.

That's some awesome artwork. I like to do ink drawings of venomous snakes. My fave is the depiction of Bill Haast working with a huge King Cobra that I sent to him and got him to sign. It is proudly displayed in our living room.
You are very talented. I especially like the chameleon. Very cool.

Yes. I most certainly do. I currently do a bit of silverwork for my dad, making pieces he does not have time for. As for the drawing, it all depends on what you like and what I have time for, just so happens I have free time.... :D

You should work on a set of prints representing a handful of the states most loved herps. Much like the chameleon and boa sketches.
Then submit the artwork and have t-shirts made.
Mountain kingsnake
Vine snake
Ridgenosed rattlesnake
Banded rock rattler
Coral snake
Green rat snake
Speckled rattlesnake(blue,red and white)
Twin-spotted rattlesnake
Massasauga
Leave the common rattlers and gila monsters for the roadside giftshop t-shirts and produce a
series with the naturalist, herpetologist and hobbyists in mind.
Create the sketches as if they were drawn in a field notebook.
Use a quality t-shirt in light greens and kahki colors which people will wear for years.
I bet they would sell very well here and across the u.s.
Best of all.............no artwork royalties!!!
No charge for the idea! LOL!

Great idea! I'd buy many seeing that I wear mostly Tshirts. :) Put a few on Gray, after all that is my fav. color.

Hey can you draw me a Snake Tattoo? Ive been wanting to get one for quite some time but just havn't gotten up the nerve to go down to the tattoo parlor and ask someone to draw something up. That tribal looking one looks pretty awsome.

Thanks for all the kind words folks.
One thing I love about art is that it fits many different things and can be used in a lot of seperate areas. Also, people love to have it and are willing to pay for it. I just do what seems cool to me. My 'style' varies dpending on what I do as well. I do not limit myself. Whatever I can do that I enjoy, I do. I have an idea on making a few medal pieces, like a Ridgenose pendant for one. The first boa pic is one I did as a tattoo idear. I do have some T-shirt ideas I really should get done, like the Ridgenose I planned on and other 'less popular' native AZ herps.
Many years ago (I was like 14-17 at the time) I had a lot of work in galleries and shops downtown in Prescott. I tried again in the last few years, but boy were they pretty picky on what folks and work they let be put up. I am not an "Artsy-fartsy" guy, so I think that is why I did not get any done. Some of my medal work could have been put up, but I did not feel it was the right place and all. Plus, I found out that a lady has been doing some silver work I thought about doing. She just thought of it first and had finished products for some time now. :p
I am always available for work on whatever people would like. Just need to let me know what you would like. I wish I had more work available to show, but I had a huge stack of work taken from a friend/co-worker I took in about 4 years ago. He also took a lot of work I was gifted by another artist friend of mine. So my portfolio is pretty limited right now. But still a lot of good stuff in it.

Ever attend Estrella War here in PHX (actually in Goodyear)? Although I am not an official SCA member, I do attend the War, and desire to attend others wars.
My father is there every year, and many other SCA events. They sell nordic tribal jewelry, which happens to be the best around. I am currently workin on some work to sell at the event, both jewelry and artwork. I, too, have a Nordic persona at the war, and boy is the week a blast. My favorite week of the year. If you deide to attend, I'll make sure to save some mead and a mug for you and all that join you. I take it your in An Tir then ya?
Hail the ancestors!!!!!

I've only gone to Estrella once with my household, probably 5 years ago.. I've been dieing to go again, as I LOVED the atmosphere.. I learned a lesson that year though.. All leather clothing in AZ desert = BAD.. lol. At least I came away with alot of photos though.. I'll gladly take yer mead.. I'll even make it a trade. We make An Tir famous hard cider(yes i'm in An tir, barony of Blath 'an Oir).. Whats funny is I always try to mix in some herpin when we do out of state events. lol.. I really am going to try to make it down next year for it though.. You should try to go to other events down in your area. The SCA is a blast.. Its my other life consuming hobby aside from herps.. I lalso draw bit.. Not too much anymore though, and not nearly as good as you.. I drew this when i was 14.. I think its one of my nicer ones..
