What kind of snake do i have in my pond?

Looks more like a water tank with some bricks in it.

Its 10ft diameter, has fish, toads, frogs, snakes, bricks, and some plant life. I call it a pond.

I have a little kids swimming pool in my backyard for the dogs to drink out of, in Arizona i consider it a lake. If i let it go for a week it turns green and i have a swamp.

to the question. From the pics, I would say it's a Wandering Garter, Thamnophis elegans vagrans.

I was gonna ask you earlier what you had in that tank but I didn"t want to look stupid. I couldn't see anything but bricks. I'm gonna say wandering garter because you say you have a wandering garter and I know thats's a gartersnake. I have a "pond" in my backyard too. It holds my red ear slider. To be "correct", the monsoons are just a seasonal winds, but known to bring rains with them. The rains are not "truly" monsoons, just a nice bonus with them. I can recall many a time back a few years out by Maricopa with the great winds that brought great big dust storms. A wall of dust a mile or more high, sand blasting their way across the desert.
