This is what happens when you feed an 11ft rock python with improper feeding methods. Let this be a lesson to ya.

I would have thought a 11 ft rock would do more damage that that. Looks like a water snake bite!
What the heck are you feeding that snake, miracle grow??? He was only 7 feet when you got him less then a year ago, growing fast for a 12 year old snake!!

Large ducks, rabbits, chickens.
KKC Play nice! He was almost 8 feet, and he just turned 10 years old when i picked him up. Remember i put him in a pillow case for his trip home, and he decided to rip through the corner.

Thanks for posting pics of your bite!
Did it chomp down on you like a dog? I was bit by a 8' retic and it seemed to give me an extra squeeze with his jaws out of spite.

My only bite from a boid was from a 6' female boa. She basically "nipped" me, not holding on. It bled, but not much for any real bite marks. Just like 3 small dots on my hand. It was swollen a bit and painful for a few days.
My worse bite was from my iggy when it was about a foot long. Great amount of blood came from that, and have had some narnly bites from Garters when I was a youngin'.

He's 13 yrs old and the only time he was bittne was square on the nose by his baby cornsnake. He didn't freak, didn't yank back and didn't get mad at the snake. He made his momma proud. LOL He said he knew it was his fault and not Fred's. I almost got bit by my baby corn and that was all my fault too.

Sorry to here that he got bit by a baby cornsnake:rolleyes: (i guess its better than 11ft of pure muscle),glad to here he didnt panic or anything, most kids(and some adults) when they get bit they panic and get scared of the snake.
Getting bit my rock was 100% my fault. Panicing is the worst thing one can do, people that panic are the ones you read about in the news.
Best thing to do when bit by a snake is dont jerk your hand (easier said than done, i know), its better to just take the bite, rather than take the bite and break off teeth in your flesh. One of my burms nailed me 3 nights ago, and it felt like a vice crunching down on my hand full of needles. Its hard not to pull away when theres blood running from your hand down past your elbow! I wish i would have grabbed the camera, but she let go and bit again, i pulled her off and he nailed me again. I got hit 3 times in 5 minutes of struggling with her.

That sucks:( :( :( :(
How big is your burm?
They are all babies i have 1.1 Albino Green and 0.1 Green the Albino Greens are from last year and are about 5' the regular Green is from last year and is only about 3 1/2' Ive only had the Green for about a month. And she hasn't been on my every 3 day feeding scedule for long. My biggest was 14'7" 125lbs. Im going to try to make a 15-16 footer and hopefully 130-140 lbs out of the Green female. They are one of many breeding projects of mine.

Actually, legally blind doesn't mean totally blind, it just means that the person has at best, low vision, meaning vision of 20/300 (what you see at 300 feet away, that person couldn't see as clear as you do until they were 20 feet away) My fiance is legally blind without his glasses, but can still drives just fine (in daylight). He can drive at night, but he just has to be more careful.
