Hi,
I will be traveling through the coastal texas area galveston, corpus christy... to brownsville on vacation. I am looking for information some good spots to find some herps. I don't want anyones "hot spots" or anything like that, just some basic areas and towns, or some good roads in those areas to go road herping.
Target species include copperheads, corals, kings, and milks. I do not collect, just want to show the kids texas native wild, and take some pictures.
Any and all information would be appreciated.
Thanks
John

Gus Rentfro, owner of Rio Bravo Reptiles, lives in Brownsville and is very familiar qwith SE TX.

Joe Forks lives in San Antonio but I am sure is familiar with all of TX. You can post for a reply at the Field Observations Forum on the PARC AZ website, www.reptilesofaz.com.
