I was surfing the venemous adds on kingsnake.com and came across a snake that looked like it had a crocidile head on it. The add had pics of three different snakes on it and said the snake in question was not for sale. They called it a Luk-a-rue. Was just curious if anyone had any info on this snake never seen anything like it before.
I am at work and there pretty restrictive about what we do online so i'll post a pic when i get home in the morn if i can figure out how to lol.
And just thought i would add that i have no experience with venemous snakes and dont plan on getting any just like surfing the sites and looking them up:)

so we can all see this fanciful snake? I have checked Mehrtens and other sources and can find nothing like Luk-a-rue. According to Google, all references to such a name refer back to the Tommy Bolin Band and there are only 6 hits.

These are the people that posted it. The picture is under the new images option on the side.

fall for that. It is obviously a conglomeration of a Diamondback and the head of a Caiman, done either digitally or by a damned good taxidermist. What does Kerby think of this??

Do a search on the BOI (http://www.faunaclassifieds.com) for Carolina Reptile Exchange and Bruce Eisenman. It will be an eye opening experience.
