Look at the eyes. They go the wrong way for a spadefoot. It looks like Bufo punctatus. Look at:

and see what you think. Just note that the example pictured is extremely red and extremely spotted. They are not all like that.

That is what my dad told me it was. I've seen them all over the place before, but I never paid any attention. I did look at the PARC website and that was the closest match I could find (and then you said they all aren't that red). Thanks again man.

but I thought the parotid glands would be more pronounced. Maybe it's the angle of the pic. I forgot about the pupils though. Thanks Jerry

Yea, none look exactly like the picture. It really threw me off (the eyes).

a younger one is my guess which may also explain the glands. Sometimes they stay light into adulthood and sometimes the start out light and get darker red spots as they mature.
