I've had the female for a year and the male for a few years. Just took them out of brumation, or rather just separated them and put them back on heat.. The male has the white markings, the female has the yellow markings.

Great looking cerbs Kerby. After all the WDB and Mojave pics, good to see some other native crote pics up in the forum...

I found a DOR Mojave myself today. I was on my way to do some quick herping, as I had about 45 minutes to kill before I picked up the lady from work.
Anyhoo, as I am traveling to my destination, I see the only Mojave I have seen in the hills. I am not aware of how high of an elevation Mojaves are known to live, but I am positive the elevation was over 6,000'. Never seen a Mojave myself so high up. I know they are found a bit lower just down in Prescott and Prescott Valley rather often.

My house sits at 5,022 ft and they are found out here plus Paulden is loaded with them. I found one on the way to Bear Crossing and it had to have been near 6,000. They are found on the old Fain Road and at the base of Mingus Mt is about 5,500 ft.

Rich, I kept the 2 cerbs together and the 2 hopis together during brumation. During brumation the cerbs were always in a pile together in their cage while the hopis rarely touched each other in theirs. I took those pics as I was separating them again. I fed last night and everybody fed but the male hopi (which is the norm for him). He will always feed on lizards and sometimes on rodents. The others slam rodents all the time.
I am going to take your advice and feed the females smaller items, but more frequently. The only time I saw copulation with my hopis was during the monsoon season in 2001, but no babies.
Any luck in your neck of the woods? (Ya know, where you plan on spending your herp time)

I went out once about three weeks ago but it was still too cool for anything to be up. Actually I think I knew that before I even went, lol, just needed an excuse to strtch the legs. I haven't been out since, was plannin' on giving this weekend a shot if the low pressure system doesn't cool things off too much. We'll look for ya tommorrow morn' :-)
