Here is a website where you can look to see the relative strength of venoms of various snakes around the world, including here in AZ:

I haven't visited it is a few months and apparently Kingsnake has done away with it. There is a site mentioned in the 3-page thread on this page. Try that.

Yesterday, I went on that site and got KS.com but could not find Bryan Greig Fry's site. This time, it worked fine. BTW, this is the same site as the one CMpyrrhus put up in the other thread.

Anyhow, like I was saying, the guy is cool beans. He and a few other herpers and I from the states talk to him a bit (has some cool and crazy stories). The guy is nothing as most folks would think of him as, just a down to earth and great fella.
He is doing Viper research (http://www.venomdoc.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=169) and I thought folks here may want to take a small look at this. I am up for it myself, but I do not have any means of freeze-drying samples. If any serious folks are interested, give him a talkin' to. I have some crotes I would 'donate' for a cause and some field samples this spring if I can find a lab with the means to get samples ready. Regardless, this new lil' research will show into more of why we love these buzztails and thier relatives.
