Tarantulas

When I go hiking I see more tarantulas then snakes. This guy was on the dirt road as I was leaving. He had the nerve to shoot his "hairs" at me as I attempted to get him off the road. What gratitude! I refuse to believe the season for herping is over. With the warm temperatures I really believe snakes might still be out. Has anyone had any sightings lately?

Were you fishing at one of the major lakes in Arizona (Saguaro, Canyon, Rooselvelt, Pleasant)? What time of the day did you see it? What type of cover or terrain did you see it in? I can not believe all the crotalus people see. I have yet to see one!!! Thanks for the reply.
