Thanks guys. MRC make it a little more difficult on yourself and look for a neonate. They are about as thick as a pipe cleaner at midbody and blend in better then any snake I have ever found. As far as I know that specimen is the only neonate ever found in AZ.

I remember getting enthused to find a vine snake when I was a little guy, probably 10 years old!
I think next year I will go see for myself.
Btw, I'm one of the guys who really likes seeing your colubrid pics!
Those ringneck pics you put up for example...
