anyone? willing to trade a leopard geck for a native or two
I'm pretty sure that is illegal but not positive. I'm sure someone will chime in with the facts.

Jeff is correct, it is illegal to "barter" native reptiles. Those lizards are not very hard to find at all, so I am sure you should be able to catch a few next time you are out. Good luck!

Hes just a kid he doesnt know what to do or not to do.......so remember that next time Kid! DONT DO IT AGAIN!
I met him at the meeting and he is a pretty sharp kid. He knows more about herps and herping than many adults twice his age.

We all learn.
I used to have mad breeding scientist dreams of re-populating this whole SW AZ area with Yuma California Kingsnakes, then I learned better that it's illegal and would threaten the local calking species and possibly upset the ecosystem balance.:nea: :nea:

That's funny, Chris. When I was Brandon's age, I wanted to populate the desert with Ostriches and Giraffes. I always thought it so unfair that they didn't live in the Sonoran Desert. :(
